With another up elevator we have the ability to build the 2nd floor from both sides ((Might not be entirely feasible given the slowdown in resources)) but something to look into. Seems like the second floor plan already accounts for this, but with the ideal for a long series of crosswalks and dueling rooms, there's really only a need for one downward elevator. This version would on the other hand cut off further expansion in this direction on the main floor (unless the elevators do not connect the same floors). On the top we could add another T connector and add two reactors to this floor. The first iteration would be in a right angle to the main floor. this long hall would also be on the same axis as our main floor. if not, there's even less of a problem)Įxpansion is possible both upwards and downwards. So it should be quite possible (I assume you'd want the elevators to connect the same floors. The grid on the pictures I made has this very size (1 block). all the rooms have a height of one block, with the exception of elevators (which have 2 blocks in height). the labs for example are 3 blocks by 3 blocks, with a door on the center of one of the edges. everything else is multiples of this size. A small hallway is one building block in size. as far as I am aware there have been no official statements in regard to this. I see no reason for not allowing two elevators next to each other.
